at The Second Annual Power Trio Fest
Bottom Of The Hill club, San Francisco, CA,

What band today can you name that has a bass player that is a virtual double for movie hero Austin Powers, as well as a drummer that possesses an almost eery resemblance in drumming style and power to late Who drummer Keith Moon? Why, the band I just saw tonight, whoworked their latest crowd into an enthusiastic frenzy in the small but popular San Francisco club called Bottom Of The Hill. They were the headliners of a five band line-up that celebrated the power of three.

Oranger is a fun and wonderful band that is ready to be 'discovered',
but right now they are one of the Bay Area's best kept secrets.

Guitarist and lead singer Mike Drake, bass player and co-lead singer Matt Harris and drummer Jim Lindsay proved once again why they are one of my favorite local bands: clever wit, intelligence and catchy songs combined into a seamless wonderful whole.

"Mike Love Not War", "Bizarro" and "Eggtooth", among their original songs, and a powerful cover of Eddie Cochran's "Summertime Blues" proved to me why it always worth my time and energy to check out this band live.
