is Jesse Malin's latest outfit. Noel Gallagher may be singing, "hey hey, my my, " these days, but it's Jesse who has incorporated that Neil Young with acoustic guitar sound into his new material.
The set starts out mellow and pretty, but it picks up lots of energy REAL fast -- maybe a little too fast. I'm left yearning for more of the opening mood before the electricity starts flowing and the house starts rocking.
Nevertheless, there are plenty of dynamics and lots of newfound depth of material happening here. Glad to see that Mr. Malin is continuing to grow and explore as an artist.
